My name is Laurie, born in 1984, and born and raised in Antwerp city, Belgium.
For over then 10 years I have been suffering from a severe form of Crohn’s disease. I have tried almost every single treatment, but I would get all the nasty side-effects, or the meds just wouldn’t help.
After all these years, I have gathered a whole collection of funny but sometimes embarrassing stories. But yet, I somehow manage to live a relatively normal life…And as I am going through a rough period at the moment, I decided it’s time to share my stories with other people…
Each and every story that I share with you, I have also translated into Dutch…

Laurie, je grote broer Eyale attendeerde me op je chronicle. Nice blog dame, ga ermee naar de Stichting Chrone, de een of andere patientenvereniging of een uitgever. Maak dat je naamsbekendheid krijgt. Is leuk om te lezen, want je relativeert goed en je klinkt positief en optimistisch ondanks de misere. Tip van Jip: maak pics die je blogjes vergezellen, dat maakt het nog levendiger.

Sterkte alvast,
ik werk met mensen met de ziekte van Crohn met zeer goede resultaten.
Het is een systemische ziekte en met voeding en bepaalde supplementen kan je een heel eind komen, mail me maar als je wil.
